 Children of the Moon Questions.

As far as I have been able to gather, Children of the Moon are as follows: actual werewolves, losing control to their animal instincts during the time of the full moon. They are known by their yellow eyes that grow brighter / bolder in accordance with the shift of the moon phases, going completely black on the nights when the moon appears absent from the sky. In wolf form, they appear similar to the Quileute wolves in the books; over sized and ferocious, though are more powerful on a one on one basis than the shapeshifter. They have heartbeats but do not age, frozen at the time of their attack. The 'disease' is passed on through a bite or scratch from a werewolf in transition.

In human form they smell and look just like any other human being, but they have supernaturally enhanced strength, speed, dexterity, stamina, ferocity and senses when in wolf form. They have a lesser portion of these abilities while in human form. They have regenerative abilities that can allow them to sustain an extraordinary amount of supernatural damage such as fighting versus a similarly aged or perhaps even slightly older vampire. During their shift they consume anything that crosses their paths, human, animal, or perhaps even vampire. They do not have the same telepathic link as the Quiluete shifters. And until recently they were often loners or in small numbers, rarely in a pack.

How accurate are the statements listed above as the Lion and the Lamb dictates? Also... below is a list of questions that I have in regards to the Lion and the Lamb's definitions of Children of the Moon... I know there are a lot of them, and extensive, but I prefer to have a clear cut definition of a species before I begin playing them on a new site... Just to prevent any conflict between me and other players, or staff.

1) How long ago was the main time of the war to purge the werewolves?

2) What would the average moon child know about who ordered the purge and where they are?

3) How much of their powers (strength, speed, regeneration, senses, etc) remain when in human form versus wolf form? Does a child of a Child of the Moon have enhanced strength, speed, regeneration, etc from birth or does that not begin until their first shift?

4) How long does the initial transformation/infection take, and what are the immediate symptoms that would be experienced between the scratch / bite and the first full moon following?

5) Is the transition from man to wolf a painful process?

6) Is there any tie between 'sire' and 'child' or infectee and infected? Shared memories, familiarity of scent, etc.?

7) Are there rumors of a cure, or any way to reverse the process, etc... and if so how much merit do those rumors have?

8) For the three nights of a month (on average) that there is a full moon, can the Children of the Moon choose not to change, if they are of a certain age etc, or at all? Does it require actually being in the light of the moon or is it simply the rising of the moon and pull of it that causes the change? Can they change any other time of the month?

9) Do they only have human and wolf form, or is there a third more 'popularized' version of half and half, and if there is, at what point does that change occur (say, during the rest of the month, if there is any occasion that would cause a shift outside of the full moon)?

10) Do they have any control whatsoever over their wolf form? Do they remember what their wolf form does?

11) Can Children of the Moon bear children? If they can conceive, is the pregnancy terminated the first shift or does it carry throughout? Will the child be infected with the disease? At what age does a child born with the infection begin shifting? How quickly do they age, mentally, physically? At what age does their body stop aging?

12) Is it possible for a vampire male and werewolf female to have a child? Will any child of a werewolf have the disease? (male werewolf with human female specifically)?

13) Animals react to vampires by shying away or spooking underfoot, etc. How do they react to werewolves? Do any of the children of the moon had any special abilities, above and beyond the racial ones, say animal kinship / control / or anything else that related to their animal / predatory nature, or not.

14) Are there any 'allergies' or weaknesses that persist throughout the Children of the Moon? Is there any adverse affect on a Child of the Moon that bites a vampire? Is there any adverse affect on a vampire that bites or tries to feed from a Child of the Moon?

15) What would it take to physically restrain a Child of the Moon during a shift? If they were to want to build a self-imposed prison etc to contain themselves or lock themselves away somewhere, what would it take to achieve that?

16) Do they have the ability to shift particular parts of their body and not others? Like... the claws or teeth, or is it half and half, all on, or nothing?

17) How do werewolves smell to vampires; and do vampires smell different to werewolves, and can werewolves pick out the scent of other werewolves?

18) How much does a werewolf have to eat to keep up muscle mass / regenerative metabolism / shifting energy etc? More than an average person?

19) Can a werewolf effectively cut their hair / shave, etc or does it immediately grow back? Can they get things such as piercings or tattoos once they begin to shift or are their healing powers simply too quick?
