hello there, welcome to 1943, guys and dolls! in the muggle world, wwii is in full swing, the nazis are still in control of germany and the soviets have finally begun to fight. the wizarding world is a different story. their world is blissfully separated from the chaos of the world. who knows if the ministry of magic will offer those poor muggle souls a hand. at any rate, the students have returned for another year of hogwarts. minerva mcgonagall and augusta longbottom are in their seventh year now and tom riddle has just begun his sixth year. every day brings him closer to his better known identity as the future lord voldemort. while there is a war raging in the outside world there is another one simultaneously occurring in the mind of this sixteen year old boy. what will this year bring for the students of hogwarts? only time will tell.[/center][/font]
