It is the year 2015. Technology has come to a standstill with the
sudden appearance of portals in various spots throughout the Earth
which bring anyone and everyone to a new world, the fae world. With
magic becoming known, the fae have come out of hiding. The holy
order, the gods, the goddesses, and the demi-gods have all become
a part of life, accepted. Or so people believed. However, there is one
problem in all of these wondrous, amazing events.
The gods are dying. Someone has figured out how to stop them from
healing and has been killing them off, one by one. Of course, the world
doesn't allow this to stick and brings about another god or goddess
to replace them, but it isn't meant to happen like that, not unless there
is no other way. The balance of nature is off, more portals are forming
to the fae world and there is a great many occurrences even the gods
haven't been able to stop. Earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis...
The list goes on. If Earth is to survive, this must be put the a stop, but
no one can find the culprit. There are stories of the world coming to an
end, an apocalypse. It has started a panic, but it has been held among
those of the holy order and the politicians of the world to avoid widespread
panic. The question then becomes how long will this last, and to what degree
will the actions of the criminal truly affect the world? Only time will tell.
